Jack Vaile Artist Reception

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Jack is 21 years old and has cerebral palsy. He showed a love for painting early in life, often asking his teachers to get the paints out for him when he was in preschool. He rediscovered this love a few years ago when he was gifted with a table-top easel, and began taking Youth art classes at Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland, with his dad in tow as his assistant. Jack has had 2 successful independent shows, and is always up for trying new techniques in his art.

With use of only his right hand, Jack employs an abstract style of painting, often utilizing bold colors to express himself. Because he is non-verbal, painting allows him to communicate his emotion and vision in a manner to which many people can respond. Jack hopes that you enjoy the work he is presenting here, and looks forward to sharing more of his work in the future.
