Many of you have met Marco. Our wonderful manager at our Berkeley location who has been with us for over two decades. A few months ago he was rushed to the emergency room, where they later discovered he had an infection in one of his lungs and leukemia (a type of blood cancer). He has recently returned home after spending over three months in the hospital, undergoing chemo, and facing near death. We're so happy he's alive. He still has a long road ahead of him with physical therapy, and he needs some help along the way. Please support and share if you can. Link to gofundme just below.

While visiting him in the hospital he would ask about the cafe and give instructions on what he wanted done. He looks forward to serving our community again in the near future. We're so lucky to have him with us. Plus he makes a mean cappuccino.
